On September 28, Cumberland town leaders voted five to one in favor of contributing $12,000 toward the local match that will support a preliminary engineering study of the Portland to Yarmouth segment of the Casco Bay Trail.
Cumberland joins Portland, Falmouth, and Yarmouth, where municipal leaders approved the match earlier this summer. Casco Bay Alliance will also contribute $12,000, bringing local contributions to $60,000.
